Welcome to the Transit Fare Assistance Program (TFAP) that was created to help Fredericton residents overcome transportation barriers.
The TFAP is financially supported by the City of Fredericton and coordinated by Greater Fredericton Social Innovation. This program provides bus tickets to non-profit/charitable organizations in Fredericton, making it easier for residents to access essential services.
Here's how it works:
1 - Review Your Eligibility HERE: Make sure your group meets the eligibility criteria

2 - Complete the Application: Ensure all required fields are filled out on the application form no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

3 - Results: We will send you an email with the results before Jan 14, 2026. If you are successful we will send you a link to "agree" to the Terms of Use (electronically)
4 - Pick-up: Please pick-up your tickets between Jan 19 and Jan 23, 2026 - At City Hall (Queen Street) (in some cases, we will deliver)
5 - Reporting: Complete the reporting form when you have used up your tickets or by Nov 30, 2026 whichever comes first.
